We had a different hot tub brand for 20 years prior to purchasing the Caldera Utopia Series - Florence. We went & wet tested many different hot tubs at different dealerships & I kept coming back to the Caldera. It's spacious, comfortable, has wonderful features. I looked at the jet placements & what type of jets were placed in each seat. Your able to sit down & relax & don't feel like your sinking so low that you have to keep your head above water. The pressure of the jets is fabulous & you can adjust some jets manually if you want more pressure on lower back, can turn the upper back jets down low. I like that flexiblity. Plus you can change the pressure of the water by turning the dial up or down. Love the calf & wrist jets. I also like that you can brace your feet on a prefect size little ledge on the bottom of the tub. That was a great design addition for us who are bit over 5 ft. Love that it has 2 control different control options on 'm 'opposite sides of the tub. Yah, I'm lazy & like to just reach over & touch & adjust the control vs moving when I am all comfy. The light feature is great. You can control what color you want your lights on the controls & in the tub. Each time you hit the button, it dims or shuts off the lights in different areas in the tub & you get a different light ambiance. My husband is always playing with that feature. My grandkids love the waterfall. BUT WHAT I LOVE THE MOST is the salt water system. I went from a chlorine/bromine base hot tub to this salt water system & it is the bomb. We have owned this hot tub for 5 years now & I can truly say each & every time we open up the hot tub it is ALWAYS clear. I could not ever say that with my old hot tub. The salt system makes the chlorine & I literally have barely ANY chemicals in this tub. My husband talked me into this system & I am so glad he did. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. If you are contemplating a tub, do not hesitate to get the Caldera Utopia series. Above all else if they offer the salt system, GET IT. You will never regret it & it is so very easy to manage. We absolutely love our tub & salt system.....

Since we got our hot tub delivered, we are in it almost every day. It really has helped with stress levels, body aches and pains. Most nights I declare, "I am going for a soak!" and everyone smiles - mom needs some quiet relaxation time!

The more we use it, the longer we want to stay in it. So relaxing!

Love the feature set and ease of water care. But a lot of initial installation issues that still haven't resolved even after 6mo: -Main panel cover has a broken attachment clip which has still not been fixed/replaced -Electronics are a total mess: Our unit arrived with unconnected wires on the main circuit board (circulation pump was not connected so it couldn't heat up) which I had to connect myself (through a phone call with our installer's manager) but that took a few days. Then we discovered the audio system subwoofer was broken and needed replacement. And now we have occasional flicker of the touchscreen, and the bluetooth connection is so spotty that it's intolerable to listen to music at all with it. Kind of feels like we got a lemon.

Love our new spa. Got it for the therapy features and have used it daily. Definitely a game changer in long Alaska winters.

When my wife and I decided to invest in a tub, we spent a lot of time comparing models between a couple of different retailers. The wet test in the Cantabria proved to us that Caldera was the way to go. We were leaning a Reunion, but were sold on the upgrade to a floor model Florence that was in stock due to the captains chair sort of seat, and most importantly, the dual euphoria jets. When doing a wet test I was blown away by how much I liked the Euphoria jets, so I decided the dual euphoria setup of the Florence would be worth the extra cash. After all, it was the perfect size/layout we were looking for, with the cool-down sort of bench for the kids. Good size for just one or two people, but room to have a few friends over? Dream tub right? Unfortunately, upgrading to the Florence ended up being a colossal mistake, as the Florence has an absolute deal-breaker design flaw. The inlet for one of the jet pumps is positioned right above one of the Euphoria jets, which is the same inlet that pulls pressure for that euphoria jet. So anytime you even think about putting a foot/leg/etc near that Euphoria jet you divert enough air from the jet right into that inlet to trigger the safety device which then completely kills pressure to that jet pump and causes pressure for every jet/seat connected to pump 1 to surge. (The same pressure loss/surging that happens as if you have completely cupped your hand over the inlet). This makes that Euphoria jet basically unusable (you can kind of contort your foot into a makeshift shield and kind of use the jet without tripping the safety device), and also means that if you have guests use the tub they will constantly be accidentally causing the jets to surge/lose pressure. I thought there is no way this is by design, so I had my retailer send their tech person out to take a look. They called Caldera about it who basically just shrugged and say that is a limitation of the design. Appalling they know about this design flaw and are selling the tub anyway. If you look at the other models in the Utopia series, you will see none of the other ones position a pump inlet near a Euphoria jet. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend buying this tub. In fact it is really hard for me to even recommend Caldera when they are trying to get away selling something so deeply flawed. Either they know of this glaring design flaw and are doing nothing about it, or their quality control is so bad that my tub has this issue and Caldera/my dealer are just telling me to deal with it rather than fix it. Not acceptable either way. I feel just stuck with a very very expensive lemon of a tub and neither my dealer nor Caldera seem interested in doing anything about it. Run the other way from the Florence.

We’ve had our Florence tub for about a month and love it. Were using it just about every night and some warnings. My wife and I like the variations in jets and therapies, all my teenage sons enjoy entertaining their friends and all the light features in it. It’s been a great tub so far. The only complaint I have is the water care. While I’m not a chemist, it should be simple just reading the colors of the test strips. Unfortunately, I just can’t get the exact colors to line up or I feel confident. So far the tub remains crystal clear, but I hope to get better at this piece of it. Living in an area with hard well water, I’m still getting very soft readings on the strip. I’m told by the dealer just to look at the pH and keep it within the pH range, but rather feel comfortable if everything was in line. Overall a great tub!

The jets are absolutely perfect. They have made this hot tub so much easier to take care of water quality wise. I cannot think of one thing they could have done to make this spa any better
